Triangle and Parallelogram Laws

      by Stephen Walsh

Firstly the user selects whether they wish to see the Triangle or Parallelogram Law in action.

Triangle Law :
Select a start point for the aeroplane, a, then two more points, b & c, creating 2 vectors, ab & bc. The aeroplane then travels in a straight line and achieves the same destination as if he had travelled along the two paths set out by the user.

Parallelogram Law :
Select a start point for the plane. Then select another point to create a vector between the plane and this to create the wind vector. Now click to create another vector from the start point, this time being the direction the pilot is trying to fly in. The hi-tech terrorist plane's direction is changed by the massively powerful winds blowing. Now click where you think the plane will end up, given the wind and it's intended direction, to fire a missile from the tank, thus destroying the highly dangerous enemy plane. However, if you miss they will know your position and destroy you instantly!
